To shoot the football. The orginial barrell is too small. Or you could rig a launcher system.

Re: A nerf "Mortar"?
Awesome ranges. I think angled ranges are legit in this case since thats how mortars fire anyway. But 300 feet? Thats great. Anyone who would want to attack the said mortars would have to go deep into enemy territory to attack the mortars. If the battlefield was 300 feet long and was divided evenly (150 ft for each team), even a nerfer with a long range gun would have to go about 50 feet into enemy territory. A mortar with this kind of range would kill on open terrain, expecially if it can easily be aimed.cannotaim wrote:Well i shot it at the park with some friend and it got about 300 feet angled.

Re: A nerf "Mortar"?
That is exactly what I meant when I said " those little Nerf footballs with the tail on the end."

Re: A nerf "Mortar"?
Anywho, those same nerf footballs have a diameter larger than the stock titan, so if you fire it alone (singled) expect it to only travel as far as the normal titan rocket would go. However, if you plan on shotgunning it to achieve a spread, than I would expect a lowered range. However again, that's what the term, "strength in numbers" means.

Re: A nerf "Mortar"?
Cna used the nerf footballs and got 300 feet. The Titan rocket would probably not go anywhere close to that. The Titan rocket is flat at the top, which will make it have more wind resistance, making it go shorter. The overall body is not aerodynamic, and it wouldn't go as straight due to no stabilizing fins(which the footballs due have). That is one principal of the RPG. After the first 2-3 epic fail models, designers added stabilizing fins which made it a little straighter.

Re: A nerf "Mortar"?
Not to mention the size difference between the two. The little foam football is smaller lighter and has less mass to be propelled. The titan rocket however, is big bulky, and has more mass.Mosin36 wrote:Cna used the nerf footballs and got 300 feet. The Titan rocket would probably not go anywhere close to that.
