The Rapid Fire Rifle by Buzzbee can be a fairly good gun with some modifications. Not a whole lot can be done to the gun( or at least I haven't), but the shells are a big part in the gun. First of all, I took out the air restrictors in the shells with a screwdriver . Then I placed a stock dart in it and found that they stick out too much to use the clip. So I cut about 3/4 of the back of the dart off. It was a whole lot better. It is pitiful by most standards for outside, but this thing is a close range monster. Before, it got maybe 10-15 feet. Now it shoots 20-30 feet at a fast pace. Maybe this is just a freak incident. It also helps to put vasoline or a lubricant on the o-ring in the gun by the firing mechanism that moves with the lever.

Interesting...there was this one mod on NH that got about 45 feet, but is still horrible for outdoor warfare. Also, here is a tip- use a silicone lubricant--not any vaseline. It will eat through the rubber, and I think you know how horrible a plunger is without an O-ring... Very Happy

Sounds good for indoor wars. No decent sized building (other than a gym ) will require you to constantly shoot over 30'. Even with the low range, the rof seems good enough to make this gun an okay primary. I really hate how buzz bee darts are just a little shorter than nerf darts. while this might be good for the use of stefans, most nerf darts are too long. I had to cut up my tommy twenty just to get the nerf darts to fire better (some still jam).

No, it is a dart mod. I did previously mod the shells, but it is mainly about the darts. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

Another interesting thing I found. The modded darts and shells don't work in my Double Shot.

Not to be a forum-deusch, Cna, but he did say, "I cut about 3/4 of the back of the dart off"

So technically, this actually is a Dart mod, but is used in accordance with modified shells.

Either way you put it, the dart shoots further. End of discussion.
