Recently, I have noticed a small, yet reoccuring trend.
When new members validate, it is because they want to post right that minute. However, the problem is the fact that this site has manual validation. Those who do not look at the rules do not realize that there is a manual validation process. From time to time on the admin panel, I see a guest or two lurking around the site, and sometimes they join. Their hopes to be active here dissipate once they realize they cannot post at that exact moment.
However, the potential members of this site have us by the balls, which is why I think I should change the validation process to immediate, instead of manual. This new validation process will attract/keep more members.
